Case Study
The Cosmetic Aligner plays a major role in making this patient's smile fit her face.
The Cosmetic Aligner is used by dentists to register the anterior midline between central incisors and the horizontal plane, during dental treatment. It is used to transfer this information after the teeth have been prepared when these alignments are frequently difficult to determine from master models alone. This information is critical to communicate to the lab tech for fabrication of anterior crowns or veneers to attain an excellent cosmetic result.

Tooth Preparation |
The device is placed between the patient's upper and lower teeth after tooth preparation and is positioned in the correct midline and horizontal plane. The procedure involves using the facial landmarks such as the pupils of the eyes, nose and lips to register the best esthetic position for the new crowns or veneers. The device is secured using a fast set bite registration material.
